RISING STAR : WHO IS YEMOVO?

ELEGBEDE ADEYEMI, popularly known as “YEMOVO/MR ALL NIGHT” is a singer, song writer and a vocalist born to Engr and Mrs Aderemi Elegbede in Lagos, Nigeria in the month February 26 1994. The name “Yemovo” was a nickname coined by his Brother, Removo.

According to him during an interview with Crack 360 in Yoruba, Adeyemi means ‘crown fits me’due to the fact that he is from a royal family. So he believes one day he is going to get to the top and feel like a king.

Yemovo started his career as a drummer at the tender age of 10 years before progressing to music at 13 years. Since then he has won several awards and has been nominated for different awards in his secondary school RADIANCE HIGH SCHOOL. He is currently in Bells University of Technology, Ogun state. Professionally, he started recording some of his tracks in secondary school in SS2 with a group called FRESHKIDZ crew and which gives him all the needed exposure in the competitive Nigerian music industry.

He recorded other songs with Sholexzy, Jizzy, Muby and others in his secondary school. Then later joined a group called FLY BOIZ MUSIK GROUP where he recorded most of his songs with Mr Kidro, Clyde and K royal. However his latest track is ‘All Night’ which was produced by Blaiz beat/Mc Julius mix, Lagos. According to Yemovo, he is more than thankful to those that have showed so much interest in him especially his Family and Legendary Sir Femi kuti aka his Music daddy (blogs, media, online sites, people) as a talent and those that have criticized his work both negatively and positively, because they only make him better.

He also thanks Allah for his Hand upon his life, his family for the support and his manager Taiwo Kosoko, for believing in him.
