Android Tablets and iPad Can Also BBM's?

BlackBerry will release the BlackBerry Messenger instant messaging application (BBM) for Android and iOS based devices. Devices that can run only smart phone category. How about a tablet device?

"Until now, the fuel designed and focus only on smart phones, Android and iPhone. We do not plan to make it to the tablet," said Krishnadeep Baruah, Senior Director of Marketing Asia Pacific BlackBerry, in a press conference in Jakarta, Thursday (19/9/2013 ).

Android and iPhone chosen because they have a large user base. As for Windows Phone, Baruah said there are no plans fuel will be present in the operating system from Microsoft.

BBM for Android can be downloaded at Play Store on 21 September at 18:00 pm. While on the iPhone, the fuel can be downloaded in the App Store on September 22 at 0:01 pm. Each can be downloaded for free.

However, cross-platform BBM is only able to run on phones that use the Android operating system version 4.0 to the iOS 6 and up.

In the early stages, BBM on Android and iPhone has standard functions to send text messages, send a short voice notes and video, as well as create a group discussion. Users also possible to change the profile picture or status.
