Apple CEO: iPhone is not playing at the level of "junk"

Many were disappointed that the iPhone was introduced on September 10 5C ago. Because, before the device is officially announced , iPhone 5C predicted would be the smartphone version of "cheap" from Apple. Fact the opposite happened.

However, Apple is not going to release iPhone version promises friendly bags. In an interview with Bloomberg Businessweek, Apple CEO Tim Cook confirmed that it was never planned to sell cheap smartphones.

"Our main goal is to sell good phones and provide a great experience, and we found a way to do that with a lower cost," Cook said.

In the eyes of the late Steve Jobs 's successor, the mobile industry is split into two. One section competed offering the lowest possible pric, while others remained in the upper segment.

"There is always a segment of 'junk' (cheap phone) in the market, we do not play in businesses 'trash," Cook said, adding that the price war is always the case in the consumer electronics industry sort of smartphone, PC, and even a DVD player or VCR.

According to Cook, the players at the level of the high-end smartphone industry to justify the high price through a high value for the buyer anyway." There is a segment in the market that does want a product that can meet their needs, and I tried hard to reach out to the consumer."

BMW and Mercedes

Cook responded attitude of skepticism - because Apple did not want to widen the middle segment of the market to the iPhone through the company's low-similar to the actual establishment of Steve Jobs when Apple is still leading the first.
