BlackBerry reportedly developing a new series of devices based on BlackBerry 10, which will be named Cafe Series or C-Series.
BlackBerry will release two devices for the C-Series is later. The first device, as quoted from Engadget, Monday (09/23/2013), has the code name "Americano", has a full touch screen, and will fill the low-end segment of BlackBerry 10-based products.
Photos of alleged sightings BlackBerry "Americano" has been circulating in cyberspace. The image can be seen from the photos below.
In terms of hardware specifications, Americano will include Qualcomm Snapdragon processor that supports LTE 400. The screen has a 4.2 or 4.5-inch span with support for 720p resolution. Behind the camera is rumored to have a 5 megapixel image sensors. Even so, it goes in a first approximation, there is still a possibility of changing specifications.
Not yet known, when the Americano will be released to the market.
Meanwhile, the second product-related information from the C-Series family is still not known to many. Some sources reveal, the second product to be released with a physical QWERTY keyboard.
Currently, the portfolio-based BlackBerry 10 device consists of two series, the Z-Series and Q-Series. Z-Series is a device that has a full touch screen. While, the Q-Series is equipped with a physical keyboard.
Respectively, have been filled by two devices. Z-Series consists of Z10 and Z30. Meanwhile, the Q-Series Q10 and Q5. Segments of the BlackBerry device 10 is filled by the Z10, Z30 and Q10. In the middle segment, there are BlackBerry Q5.
