Intelligence agencies reportedly rejected a number of western countries the use of certain products originating from China. Including, Lenovo and Huawei.

As reported by The Inquirer, Lenovo from China who is said to have been blacklisted by the intelligence agencies and defense of the UK, USA, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand which are collectively known as the "Five Eyes".

Due to this, Lenovo is not allowed to supply hardware to the relevant authorities in those countries.

Garanya, Lenovo products suspected to contain hardware "backdoor" and weakness firmware allowing foreign agents to access information from the computer in question without getting caught. It concluded after intensive testing of the fabricated devices company, following its acquisition of IBM in 2005.

According to the Australian Financial Review (AFR), which investigated the matter, Lenovo has been included in the blacklist since the mid-2000s.
