Paranoid Android 4.0 will Show Us ‘Immersive Mode’ [Video]
Paranoid Android have probably come out with the most innovative features when it comes to custom ROMs, and you got to wonder what they are cooking up next. Well looks like we get a little preview of what is to come in Paranoid Android 4.0, and that feature is called “immersive mode”. And just what does immersive mode do? It…makes your apps fullscreen. Yes, not a huge crazy feature here, but it is a nice alternative to having your device in complete fullscreen, simply because you can still access your notification drawer when immersive mode is on. When you’re on fullscreen mode in most custom ROMs, you can’t get to your notification drawer unless you have custom gestures on a certain home replacement.
Immersive mode can be accessed in your notification mode quick settings, so yes, it might not be a ground-breaking feature like PIE or HALO, but it’s a little tweak that comes in handy. Check out the brief video below, and let us know what you think about it.
