iPhone thief returns contact list to owner
There are many problems with losing or having your smartphone stolen, one of them involves losing your contact list.
One pickpocket realised the stress he’d caused his victim and decided to send the owners 11 handwritten pages of contacts.
The incident happened in China when Zou Bin had his Apple smartphone stolen during a taxi ride with the pickpocket.
Zou then messaged the saying: "I know you are the man who sat beside me. I can assure you that I will find you.”
"Look through the contact numbers in my mobile and you will know what trade I am in, send me back the phone to the address below if you are sensible."
Soon after he received a package including his SIM card and his 1,000 contacts all written out by hand.
Zou told the Hindustan Times: "It would take a while to write from one to one thousand, let alone names and a whole string of digits. I suppose (the thief's) hand is swelling.”
Clearly this thief had a conscience and knew how much of a pain it is when you lose all your contacts. The moral of the story is back up your contact list as often as possible.
